I bolted on the 17" wheel. Just to see if it would fit.

Okay the tie rod ends clear the rim. The back of the wheel is about 20MM or 2 CM from the shock.(ON the front) To close? Just wondering if I will need to track down some spacers.

Also where can I get longer lug nuts and ones that would fit this wheel? I guess I need smaller head on the lug nut. The stock ones will not work.

P.S The rims weight (21 1/2 pounds each)(86 pounds(4)w/o tires) They are really a pain.

Might sell them to e-bay if I don't like.

I went to the mid, Oregon drive(E21) very nice! I saw (2) 323i's for the first time. Wow Some day I might have to buy one of those. After all the hauling over mountains and tight curves... I had to haul but to keep up with them,. But It was okay! The only thing that got me. Half way up the long hilles the put on the blinker to pass. ( I was like ah..drop it into 3rd and scream my engine to keep up. I was told that they were in 5th all the way up..........
