sorry that I can't help w/ this, but I helped a friend w/ a car and he used carfax. Carfax reported a clean bill, only showing mileage recorded per year of inspection. He bought it from a car dealer as a result. Later, we found some receipts in the rear seat w/ original owner's name and work number. We called him to find out origin and condition. IN the conversation, orig. owner said that the car was in an accident, the whole subframe needed replaced.
