I had the same problem in my 79'. I had a broken motor mount and every time I'd take a fast turn, it would stall. I assumed that the motor would tilt and pinch a power wire, causing the car to stall. I replaced it and it went away.

Would a faulty warm up regulator cause the engine to die during fast uturn or fast entrance ramp? My 320i does.
