If that is the case, I would definitely bleed the brakes completely, back to front.

Which connection came loose, btw?

Did you notice an increase in spongy feel, or were you poking around under the hood when you figured it out?

Another brake topic,

Do you, or anyone else reading this reply, use the ebrake to trim the rear brake adjustment during driving? I do this often when I drive fast, and I a wonder if I am causing long-term damage that I am not noticing yet. I remember the parking brake cable terminates on a lever inside the drum that pushes on only one of the shoes. What do you think?

I just had air bubbles in the reservoir after a connection came loose.

Any air in the reservoir would simply bubble to the surface. Do you mean air in the master cylinder or perhaps the brake lines? What exactly are your symptoms?
