Okay, I am planning a trip out to PA to work on my car and bring it back to Indiana. (I posted a long message about my problems about 2 weeks ago.) Should I buy the ECM for my car and then hope that that is the problem. Is it to risky to chance that? I only have one weekend to work with and my GF isn't going to want to take another trip out to PA tp try this thing one more time. What should I look for. I will give a small synopsis. I try to start it and it sounds to dry. There is a whistle sometimes when rev'd a little high. I bought a fuel pump, accumulator, fuel pipe and fuel filter this summer and put it on. It ran the best it ever has since I owned the car up until the point of death on I70 in PA. I finally could get my car running after an hour and then it would die after about five minutes. As you can imagine an may have experienced yourself, I was pretty POed after spending a lot of $ this summer on fixups and improvements and right when I needed to pull through, it crapped out on me. Thank you for an advice or help on my dilemma.
