Those rear discs should go real fast. Lots of interest on those. Hey, I've read that one shouldn't sell rotors w/ the setup, unless they're brand new. Some sort of liability issues, but I don't know what this is all about.
How's the e34 doing ? I'll bet It's a killer smooth ride compared to the e21. But I'll also wager that you don't have a problem cruising around in the e21. These little cars are really a blast to drive around. Yeah there is always interest for the rear discs , I actually had them pretty much sold to a fellow board user but I was not able to come through in a timely matter . Yeah the new 5er is still kicking ass , everything is cool except for the fact that I need to replace the windshield soon .
Thanks for welcoming me back !
It's good to be back on the scene .
Like I said in the e-mail , sorry I missed you guys down in Dallas .
We'll have to try something again .
I think the issue about selling used rotors (or brake items in general) is mainly a liability concern for businesses , it should not really matter in a private sale .
I noticed that when Dave Varco had a set for sale earlier this year on eBay that he included a new set of rotors .
Also Julian Osante posted his set recently without the rotors or calipers , he was asking $350 just for the arms alone .
Seemed a bit steep to me , especially when you consider the scarcity of the rear calipers and not to mention the fact that the two short hoses on the calipers would run well over a $100 new .
As its paid for I'm only carrying liability on it and I've been avoiding findind out how much a new one will run .
Oh yeah our little E21's are great entertainment when they are running/tuned properly .
Can't wait to get up some new pics of mine .
later ,
