Sounds like a full custom job made to reflect the look of a 323i, which had a dual-outlet exhaust system. Probably does little for performance, because there's no real reason to have dual exhaust on an inline 4. That said, I would venture that ANYTHING that is custom, factory performance or factory rare will net the owner more money than they paid for it in the junkyards. If it's easy to get out, and not destroyed, I say take it. Half the stuff on my car is from the junkyards, I've found airdams, side skirts, wheels, sport steering wheels, aftermarket sway bars, headers, mufflers, shifters, and all sorts of other rare stuff.
