1) The passenger seat has lever's on both sides of the seat back.
2) ?????
3) The female seat buckle is bolted to the same place where an approx. 5/8" metal tube goes from side to side under the seat. When you pull up on the lever to enable the seat back to move forward, this tube rotates w/it.
It sound stupid, and I need help to re-install the OEM front seats which were taken off by a dealer about 18 years ago and installed the after-market recaros. Now its time to restore the 1980-e21. I need help for the following questions:

1. Each front seat has a lever on the side which will allow the seat back to fold forward to allow passenger to get to back. The lever is on the outside next to the door? Would someone please confirm or tell me I am wrong.

2. How many sliding stopper per front seat? One or two? Which side if only one is required? Could someone post or send me a pic with the front slided all the way to the front which should expose the stopper(s)?

3. Where does the seat belt female buckle go? Would someone show the pic?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I could find any e21 in the nearby neighbourhood for the last two hours.
