I had the fog light option installed at the dealer, and they were wired to turn off when the high beams came on, they will however, work with the parking lights on. At the time they were installed, the vehicle code stipulated that a mamimum of 4 lights could be on at any one time. The lights that could be turned on (exceeding four) had to have covers.

Ok, I got a pair of Bosch Fog lights from the junkyard and cleaned/painted etc and mounted them. I managed to wire into the existing fuse box in the stock location using the dedicated relay and fuse spots too, but I can't for the life of me find the correct hot switched wire to activate them. I found the stock wiring in the dash for switching but can't find the power feed for the low power side of the relay. We're they intended to only come on with Low beams, all beams, parking lights or what? I only want them to be able to come on with the key and low beam, but with high beam as well would be fine too. Its an 81.
