I had a bad drive shaft (support)bearing that made sounds like your talking about.

I've noticed a squeaky noise emminating from underneath my 83. Its pitch depends on speed, the higher the rpm, the higher the squeak, when I'm slowing to a stop, it sounds like an old rocking chair. Is this the sign of a worn center bearing? The guibo? The front guibo has been recently replaced, and this noise sounds like it's coming from the rear. I looked under there and didn't see anything touching any moving parts. I'm about to put a LSD in, and I was going to replace the guibo in the rear anyway, but should I also do the center bearing while I'm down there? Is this an incredibly diffuicult task? Just would like to know what I'm up against so I can get it done right the first time, since the car's my daily driver. Thanks in advance!
