If the Red Cross wanted to do good with the trucks, they'd putem on ebay and they'd go over retail in the bidding. The motorcycle idea will come back to BMW in the long run. The bikes will need general maintainance and after the total cost of ownership is realized it will steal money away from Harley sales. I have seen the poloce bikes and they are amazing. Safer for the police also.
