YOu didn't say how you fixed it...but if you didn't replace it, then it stands to reason that the head had to be milled down to eliminate the warping. Depending on how much metal was removed, it's likely that compression ratio has been increased. THe higher the compression ratio, (a) the greater the detonation charge, (b)the higher the power output, and (c) the hotter the engine gets. I'd investigate this...

OK....here's the deal, I had a warped cylinder head and I fixed it. Currently I have about 350 miles on the new head and the power is gradually increasing as I break it in. I have not adjusted the air/fuel ratio yet but the valves have been adjusted and I have new vaccuum hoses everywhere. I only run super unleaded (93) but when I am running at highway speed around 75 mph I notice slight pinging for lack of a better adjective to describe the sound and it gets louder the faster I go past 75. Needless to say I do not go beyond 70 to be safe, but here is the other curious thing; the car is getting hotter than I like. The heat corresponds to the speed as well, if I keep the speed 45 to 60 and NEVER go past 60, the temp will not exceed half. If I go past 60 once and the faster I go the hotter the engine gets and will eventually go a little past the 3/4 mark. I am in Houston and it has been 91, but before the head job I could go 90 and the temp would stay at half. So the question is, could my heat problem be something new, related to the cylinder head, or will this all settle back down when I make the final adjustment to the air/fuel ratio. What do you all think I need to do?
