It'd probably be better to post on the appropriate board for those models. That said, on most cars the switch for the reverse lights is somewhere on the transmission, I think. It could be stuck or shorting.


1994 325is. the reverse at times do not work.
is there a switch that could be gone? the bulbs themselves
seem fine. any thoughts?
also, does the 94 325is have a timing chain or belt?
