ok... I am wondering whether or not to sell my baby.. It is an 81' 323i. I recently put a 87 2.5 e motor in it. It has square lights in the front, bbs spoilers all around and side skirts. Only problem is It is getting trunk rot and some idiot before me had 10" wide tires in the back and they rubbed and got fenders a bit rusty. I have a complete spare k jet system, the 2.3 that came out of it, and an "is" motor minus the head. I have a head that needs 2 valves because of piston collision. I loved this car to death until I had a motor built and It seized up on me and the guy didn't back his work (that is why the valves are clapped). The head has the works done to it, and the k jet has been dug out a bit. I have been thinking to sell it and get a 2002 later on in life as I am just getting out of school now and am faced w/ reality... thanks for listening and Ideas

The pictures look nice. If the car has trunk rot you should have it taken care of quickly. I learned the hard way, the shock came through the trunk wheel house. It didn't look like I had that much rust but I found out that there was alot lurking in there. You want to check the rear trunk supports also, as the tend to rust. 2002's are nice and I would like to have one also. Buy one and keep the 323i.:-)
