I'm getting the lingering/flickering brake light and occasional hard-brake-pedal-when-braking-hard symptoms indicative of a faulty brake bomb ... but this was replaced just last June ...

Before I order a new one, any other things I should investigate? I'm losing some PS fluid from the reservoir, but I can't for the life of me figure out where it is going - brake switches are clean - at any rate would they cause similar symptoms?

TIA

Brian

Brian,
Have you checked the assist unit in line between the master cylinder and the firewall? Check to see if there is any fluid coming from the weep hole on the bottom of the unit. I was able to rebuild mind using the o-ring dimensions posted on this excellent site. If you do decide to re-build it be careful, the unit is spring loaded and will knock both eyes out if not disassembeled with caution.
