First check that you have sufficient brake and powersteering fluid in your car's reservoirs, and then check the wiring to the brake fluid sensor. Make sure that it mechanically works and if possible test with a multimeter. If this checks out it could be the cause of a faulty hydraulic accumulator and /or one of the two sensors located on its module. You can usually tell if the accumulator (sometimes referred to as the "holy grenade") is at fault it excessive brake pressure is needed to stop the vehicle and if the brake pedal is slow (hard feel) in response to a fast (hard) brake.

If you are not experiencing these problems, find the two sensors on the hydraulic accumulator housing and with the engine running, remove a lead from one, and then try the brake. Reattach that lead and check the other sensor in the same way. If the warning light problem is solved by removing
the lead to one of these sensors, it usually indicates that the accumulator needs replacement. It should be noted that it requires a special tool to remove the accumulator ball. Also it is a good idea to replace the two sensors on the accumulator housing when you change the accumulator, as the sensors may form small leaks through their core.

If the problem persists or your specific case does not check for any of the above senarios, please write back.

I hope this helps;
good luck.
