All,

Just a quick note to let you know that I've finished rebuilding my Brake Booster for my 83' 733i. I've not yet thrown it in "Jules" just yet, but tomorrow' the day.

A lotof people told me that this was gonna' be a "Tough" job to pull-off. On the contrary, it was quite easy. The only real pain, was finding the correct size O-Rings. I managed to find all five (5) O-Rings at my local Pep Boys. If anyone out there would like to know the necessary O-Ring size, email me.

The Booster itself requires five (5) different O-Rings and one (1) seal.

In all actuality, the seal is the only piece I haven't yet replaced. Mainly because the one that's currently in there is still relatively fresh.

I'm not sure if anyone else out there is interested in trying to rebuild this piece, but if you are, I'll be glad to share my "rebuild" experience with you. "I know what a pain it is to have to part with $300.00 for a new one."

Anyway, there ya' have it.

Thanks again everyone, for helping me out with my request. Especially the "6-Series" people.

Cheers!

Ken
