I need some help with my 86 735i. After fixing the thumbnail ac control, my speedometer, odometer and trip odo stop working. I need some advice on how to fix the problem. Someone told about the speed sensor on the car, but don't know where it is. Any comment or advise will be greatly apreciated. Thank you!

Your speed sensor is located on the diff facing rear. Remove the rubber boot,unplug and change out the sensor.
