The WOT voltage you mention is correct assuming that the reference voltage is indeed 5 volts since the WOT voltage should be .22+-.02 volts less than it. However according to the Bentley, you really need to set your WOT voltage to .22 volts below the pot reference voltage that exists and it is usually less than 5 volts. I can give you the wire colors tomorrow if you like.

You must set the throttle position pot VIA voltage. The transmission runs off a 5volt system. Use a digital meter and back probe the bosch round type plug. Plug must be connected and key in the full on postion.
I think the conections number 2 and 3 are the ones that you want to probe. Voltage must be between 4.76 and 4.80 volts at wide open throttle optimum being 4.78 volts. This setting is critical to proper shifting.
Once this is done then set the idle control microswitch by way of the screws on the switch. With the throttle in the idle postion. You want the microswitch to click just as the throttle is cracked and still click when it returns to the idle postion. you can also tweek this VIA the 10mm nut on the throttle cable side of the throttle plate.
Look in the archives for a posting by Callan on this subject earlier this year.
Hope this helps you.
