Mr. Bowes, I purchased a 1982 733 5sp. parts car this afternoon for $300.00 it runs has a nice interior and body but it needs exhaust and it smokes going downhill under compression, but otherwise a good deal I think. So now all I really need is a 745i exhaust manifold, intake tubing, and innercooler. I've been talking to Steve at GP Motorsport in Hayden Id. and he has advised me to use a Wolf digital injection-ignition system and an aftermarket compressor with an external wastegate, I will also use an HKS electronic boost controler. He advises all these parts can be used with excelent results on the fresh 635csi Motor that I have in the car now.
I would just buy a 745i, but i have way too much money in the car already ie: custom fabricated caster-camber plates (Required Welding in new strut towers) , Ground-Control coilovers, Koni adjustables, Dinan Swaybars, and Flared fenders to clear, 2000 18" 740i Sport Wheels.
