To test it reach behind the vacuum motor and pull the pushrod in to imitate what the vacuum motor would do if it worked. I spent a few days even finding this one. I haven't figured out how to get out the rivet that holds it to the pushrod yet. I tried drilling it out but needed a longer drill bit. Be sure to manually activate the pushrod before you break anything.
