'82 733i axle flange problem (archive)

On my'82 733 differential where the right side axle flange presses in, it will not lock in properly.Anyone else out there ever had this problem?The "C"clip that is supposed to retain the axle stub (flange)will stay in the groove inside the differential but will not sufficiently lock the stub (flange).Also does anyone know which years & models ie)533's,535's,735's,...would have the same axle flange and "C"clip should I have to replace these.Anyone got one of these differentials apart that is only good for parts for sale?...Wanna sell me the R/side axle flange & "C"clip?
