Hi, i m looking to buy a CD player for my 1980 BMW 733i. Everywhere we go to look for it they give us a different story on what to do to instal it. If anyone has done this please give the way to instal it. I d appreciate.

Aaron, I've got a kenwood in my '79 733i. Install
was easy, just have to make sure you make the proper wire connections to the harness that's supplied w/your new stereo. I did not abandon the fader, just set it in the middle,used the installed wires to the rear speakers, then used the fader onboard the stereo. Two things come to mind,tho: there's not much depth behind the face panel, so you might have to make a custom spacer
to fit up to the dash and look good. I did, out of wood. Also be very careful not to disturb your
vacuum lines for the heater. This is most importante! Good luck, Griff
