I have recently purchased a 745I; 1984 Model. However, I am "NOT" familiar with these vehicles. Also, I did contact the American BMW Customer support center to order a owner's manual and they could not
get one for me. The problem is the vehicle was what they call a "gray" market car. The buttons and controls are written in "german". I recently had the vehicle checked out and it got top billing. This vehicle is great!!! And it is "PERFECT" inside and out. But, I have no idea what some of the controls and buttons are for??? Some buttons are easy to fiqure out. But, some have me stumped. I purchased this vehicle at an "Estate" auction and the previous owner was affliated w/ the military. The BMW Customer support center uses the vin# on the vehicle to locate info; however, I was informed that I would have to contact the German BMW customer service center. I have emailed the "worldwide" web for BMW" and I haven't heard anything yet. I'm hoping for some help from anybody who knows anything about the "german" edition of the 745I. Also, what would a "original" german 1984 745I be worth in "excellent" condition w/ about 130,000 mi? ANY ACCURATE INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED. HELP......
