I'm starting the process of fixing and removing the hacks that i've found on this car.

Anyone have an ETM that I could borrow or pay to copy?

Some questions:

* Anyone know the Bosch number for the afterrun fan? This looks suspicously like the injector cooling fan in my Audi 200 tqa, (which is back in CT so I can't check the part number). I need to get some deep sockets so I can remove my fan. It does not work. Wiring checks out OK.

* The aux air valve was replaced by some mechanical gizmo with a cable!!! New valve on the way. I assume this should connect to the loose connector on the injector harness, near injector 3.

* Any idea why someone would disconnect the cold start injector, and connect 2 wires to it that go under the dash? I thought it was part of the mess of alarm wires which I was pulling out, so I cut the wires before I bothered to find out what they were connected to.

* My interior lights do not work, none, including the rear reading lights. Any ideas where something might be disconnected? Think this is part of the alarm botchup?

* There is a big relay, #205, under the dash, thats hot to touch. Any ideas what it is, and whether it needs to be replaced?

* Where is the exterior temp sensor? Mine reads -22C. Probably disconnected or dead.

* In the drivers side speaker hole, besides the Seimens ECU, there is another VDO ecu. Does this belong under the dash cover or in this hole? What is it - cruise control?

Thanks in advance. Samir.
