The factory radio should use the 5 sided tool that is inserted into the holes on the side of the radio. You unscrew the screws one at a time to loosen the hold arms on the backside of the radio. BMW and Bavarian Autosport sell the radio removal tool. Until you get the radio out to see what the serial number is, it's going to be hard to get the code.

Don't use a regular allen wrench, the hex bit will damage the 5 sided recessed screw that do all the work.
