I have 86 735I.. Car is mint-perfect with 12K miles.

Can I interest you in a bridge, located in downtown Brooklyn, NY?

>I want to "bolt on" the 745 turbo assy to my my higher compression m30 motor.

Well, considering that the 745i engine internally bears no resemblence to your 12K motor, this could be quite a chore.

>With the exception that my motor is higher compression and I'll probably have to run high-octane (not a problem for me)what other concerns must I look out for?

Nothing in your present car, including the engine, exhaust, ECU, wiring harness, and transmission, in your "Mint 12K" car will work well with the turbo setup. Is that enough?

If you really HAD a 12K Mint 735i, why would you want to screw it up with a turbo conversion, when you can buy a REAL 745i for anywhere between $2000 to $9000?
