Yes it is possible. I did it to my seats since the driver's seat was more worn. I did only the seat bottoms so I didn't have to worry about the arm rests. There are some complications that you have to overcome though. My driver's seat had the memory option but the pass seat didn't so you need to switch only the seat base that has the springs and leather cover and not the whole base. You'll also have to switch the motors since they are different. But it can be done. Took me about 3 hours to do including adding some high density foam under the leather fabric. demet
This might sound like a dumb question BUT, is it possible to switch the drivers seat with the passenger seat? Reason being is that the driver seat springs are SHOT. anything over a 1 hr drive and I cant wait to get out and stretch. I put a cushion in temp., but thats not enough. Interior work not slated till summer next year, too much engine and suspension work to do first. Car is a '84 735i.
