Left light (archive)

On my '88 735i left light sometimes work,sometimes not.When I turn the lights on the voltage remains the same,compared to the right light,where the voltage jumps up a few volts.I checkt the fuses and they are O.K.I have no idea where the problem is.I also checkt the cables from the battery(only at the battery).How can I diagnose the light?
