Anyone have experience sourcing a fuel pump besides the dealership?

IF you are talking about the primary pump (outside the tank) most local places can get you a pump, i.e NAPA, Advanced Auto, etc. Also this pump is available at carparts.com. Another source for the primary pump is Bavarian Autosport www.bavauto.com If you need the intank pump then carparts.com or Bavarian Autosport will have that pump. If you have a Advanced Auto Parts store in your area talk to them. I have found a lot of BMW parts in their Nashville, TN warehouse at competive prices. The disadvantage is it takes 2-3 days to get the parts to the local store. Also go to bmwlinks.com and surf the supplier list for additional vendors that sell parts.
