That is true for the 745 as they didn't come with them originally. However, if you have the O2 sensor you should make sure that the rest of the aftermarket control box has been disconnected from the ECU. Otherwise it could be interfering with the mixture control if it's expecting an O2 sensor input but doesn't find one because the O2 sensor wire has been cut. On mine everything was removed but I still retained the O2 sensor because I find it a voluble tool in checking the mixture under various driving conditions.demet
Grant, I was going to try your suggestion first since it seemed the easyist. Unfortunatly the O2 sensor wire has been cut off at the sensor, and I cannot locate any disconnected wire that should be attached to the sensor. Is this something that will need to be addressed? I have read elsewhere that disconnecting the O2 sensor has helped performance.
