Yes, you are right on 87... Typo on my part. And if it was a 745... I would have bought it too, but you just cant beat the styling of these e23s, bmw really lost it since in my book.

I definitely agree on the styling part, although I am a fan of the E32 style as well. The E38 never quite grew on me and from what I've seen, the new 7 is taking on a Rubenesque shape that I will not be too fond of. The new 6 series looks fat and bloated too.

I also find that the quality of the materials has gone down a bit too. Everything on my 733i feels rock solid almost 17 years after my dad drove it off the lot. When I'm ready to add another BMW to the garage, I am 99.9% sure it will be another 80s vintage one, either a 635CSi or a 535i.
