right behind the ash tray. You can see them from there, but can not work on them from here. To get to them you will have to pull the entire center section.

I had the same problems you have. I used the vacuum pump under the hood and a hand pump to go through the entire system to find leaks. Found that I had bad vacuum motors on the heater and cowl vents. Also had hoses that were more like the porus hoses use on air pumps in aquiriums.

Bought a good used pump from a parts car for $50.00. Now everything works great.
