85 735i water leak (archive)

My 1985 735i has a water leak that takes place around the passenger wiper area it seems and leaks into the glove box. Does/did anyone ever have the same problem and is it a drain perhaps around that passenger side wiper area that may be clogged? Thanks for any help and solutions, Tim.
