I have a well used '84 733i that I regularly do about 160-170kph which I believe is 100 or better. Ithink when I got this car about six months ago I had it up to 185 or 190kph, so I would suggest that a well tuned 733i auto goes around 115 or so.

I was wondering if anyone knew the actual top speed for a 733i (1982 non-euro) Or did BMW rip us off and give us a car that only does 85mph while the 735 can get to approx. 140mph with an engine that is .2L larger.
Also if the Top Speed is above 85mph is there a way to swap the face and reprogram the movement so it is like a 735's Speedo....but with out changing the O.D.O. if possible.
