Jon,

I too have an 86 735i. I had installed new Dinan shocks and new Bilstein Sport shocks in it last year.

I found I prefer the softer ride of the factory components.

Anyway if you're interested in a set of matched sport springs/shocks let me know. The car really handles very well with the sport suspension. I'm sure we could work out a fair price if you're interested.
