Seats stuck and won't move (archive)

I've got an 85 735I and the front passenger seat is stuck all the way back. I can't get to the rear bolts to take it out. Anyone have any suggestions why the motors won't move. If I press the controls the I hear a clicking sound but no motion. Please help.
