Try replacing the relay up on the firewall on pass. side....I beleive (not at all sure) the relay controls the ECU....Good luck.
PS you might be able to remove one of the grey ones in the fuse box to troubleshoot it -- depending on what they control, I dont know off the top of my head. HTH
