Hi,

I believe none of the relays in the fuse box fits the DME relay, as the DME relay is 5-prong.
If suspecting the DME relay, make a jumper wire with 2 flat blades (i.e. Y-shaped).

One prong into 30, the other 2 prongs into 87 connections.
If car starts then the relay is faulty.

when i turn the key it cranks, and sounds like it wants to start then it goes to just cranking. any suggestions on what i can do. my car is 1980 733i
