well tranny was blown got it rebuilt more look (archive)

the forward clutch pack was shot. so i was gonna drop in a 5 speed. but the guy wanted to rebuild the tranny and kinda talked me into it. he initially wanted 1600 to rebuild it but i told him no way, never, and we agreed on 1200. he had rebuilt it once before so he wanted to work with me. i still figured for the same price i could have bought a 5 speed and all parts. but its too cold outside. Anyway the problem was that the tranny cooler lines are slowly leaking and what happened was it ran out of fluid. my stupidity i didn't really check the fluid. But whatever live and learn i guess. Now where can i get new lines for the tranny cooler??????
