Hey, I am a college student who finally ran through my Toyota Corolla and had to get a new car quickly. A friend let me have his 83 733i for $500. It has had a couple of problems, but has been great. I have never done any real work on cars, but with the age of this car figured that now might be the time to learn especially as I am finding that yes I did get a great deal, but that is only the start of the deal. I have come through a few problems with my repair man and my car runs now, but there is a lot I want to do with it and am excited about getting the chance to fix it up. As I said however, I am a college student and as such, have less than no money. If anyone coul dhelp me find sources of layman's information on the 733i, I would appreciate it a ton.

But enough of that, my current problem is that apprently I have a leak somewhere that is causing my front floor boards to be soaked. I saw postings on what the leak might be, but I have a different question. How can I get my floorboards dried and cleaned? Does anyone have any solutions that are cheaper than taking it to a cleaner? Also, if anyone could give me more information on where the spots for those leaks are located, I would appreciate it more than you know. Thanks
