I went to start up my car this morning, after a pretty cold night and it ran for 10 seconds really roughly and quit. Started it again, and it fired up, but the whole car was shaking. Putting it in gear only made it shake harder. There was barely any throttle resonse, and it couldn't be induced to break 2000rpm. I can't open the hood because of a minor accident (pickup truck backed up into me), but i noticed the exhaust had an odd smell. Let it run for 10 minutes. Idle was all over the place (held at 1000, held at 600). 10 minutes later, car was running fine and the shuddering stopped. What gives?
