hows the tuoma chip???still turbo lag up to 2000rpms??i intend to run 15-20lbs boost think its too much??i have a turbo man in long island, builds the best hybrid turbos on east coast!!garantees no lag!!change that auto to stick this summer!!!more cost effective!!
no cat??still pass inspection??how fast are you???

I have just a few mods. first a 3" pipe right off the manifold , no cat, no resonator, just a dyno max 3" muffler. that mods does wonders because it lets the turbo make more boost. I've been told that a good 2-3 Lbs. of boost is normal. And as a matter of fact I think my 10LBS. cut off is comming in once in a while. (time for the Tuoma Chip) K&N drop in,modded Air box, Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. So its not stock by your definition.
I have many friends with z28s TAs Stangs and Vettes. I know they are all fast cars. No disrespect. One 99 Ram Air TA runs low 12's on juice. and a SC stang runs 11's. Those 2 cars both pull off the line hard but i make up a Lot and they both even say that they are very surprised at what my car can do.
I have to say that the ZF automatics SUCK!
I just blew mine 2 weeks ago and i would have thrown in a 5 speed but it was/is WAY TOO COLD out. the other thing is that with a TURBO you make a LOT of TORQUE and just a little bit more gives a good amount of power. not your 5- 10 from little stuff on NA engines.
