lotus carlton????if i see one of those on the road ill be sure to pull over!!!!!!!!the only twin turbo im scared of is a 4cyl civic!!!if my 745i is only 3.2L,then why didn't bmw call it a 732t???why 745???how come both engines3.2/3.4L produce the same amount of hp??? what does the turbo increase???on my intake manifold it says 3.2/3.4,what does this mean???

porsche is a sports car not luxery car !!showme another luxery car that can do this???
yes its 3.2l now but turbo increases displacement to4.5L!!!!and when im done 5.5L!!!!!!

I believe you said that "aside from the m5 no stock 6 cyl car comes near this one stock" That's why I brought up the Porsche. You're right, no other luxury sedan could do that back then (early to mid 80s). However, have you ever heard of a Lotus Carlton of the late 80s and early 90s? I thought not. 3.6 liters, twin turbo and 377bhp. Stock it could only muster 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds and tops speed around 175mph. And yes, it had four doors. And yes, it is faster than a stock 745i.

Don't take it too hard but a turbocharger does not increase your engine displacement. A 3.2 with a turbocharger is still a 3.2.
