I have a leak in the gas lines on my 83 733i 5Spd. Do I have to use the metal lines to replace or can I just splice rubber hose into its place? If so, any idea of a source for the line from the filter/pump area to the engine end? Thanks

Strongly recommend you replace it with metal lines; tried the rubber hose route once with an old Volvo and blew the hose to pieces under hard acceleration and gas was everywhere.
