Door lock control unit (archive)

I need some advice for the location of the door lock control unit on an '85 735i. I have tried each one of the locks and as suggested in another posting, they aren't getting any power and the fuse is good and well seated... clean contacts too.I am trying to restore this car and have really enjoyed the message boards advice on alot of things. Thanks to everyone who ever posted anything about the hvac system... I replaced the microswitch on the volume thumbwheel and used two small screws to secure it firmly to the board and "viola!!" instant air!! I am so grateful for the 99 cent fix!
