were good moves, though perhaps if you'd been farther back you could have slowed gently.

BUT, honking and light flashing are sure to get 90% of even older red-blooded males pissed off.

Of course, you are forgiven, since I am sure that YOU never made a mistake while driving a car.

It's Christmas; you are forgiven. Go forth and sin no more.

I was driving to Judo practice after work last night in Des Moines, IA when an old )&%_$% in some old piece of $^%& american car cuts in front of me. I hit the brakes as best I could given the slick conditions and avoided his crashing into me.

As I braked, honked, and swerved, I flicked the brights so he would see me. Another thirty seconds passed and he slammed on his brakes trying to get me to hit him. No chance, I was not following too closely and stopped with almost three car lengths space.

Then, even after obviously seeing my Judo Gi (uniform) hanging in the car, he gets out of the car and wants to fight me. He must have been 70 years old and I am 40, in shape, and have a black belt in karate besides.

Was he just trying to leave an estate for his heirs or was he insane? Stressed out over Christmas? Who knows?
