Anybody know if there is an easy, safe way to test the fuel injectors for clogging, good spray pattern, ect.? I have a '85 735i w/ 180K - thanks in advance

I just checked mine, but I won't say it was the easy way. I just pulled all of them and the injector manifold, and turned the ignition sw to get them to operate. Not pretty, but it worked. You may find they won't want to come out of the intake or injector manifold, and they certainly won't want to go back in with the same o-rings. The o-rings swell up with exposure to the fuel. You should get a set of new ones before you attempt to pull out the injectors.
Any reason in particular you want to pull & check them?
Mark
