E23, like any other cars, requires routine maintenance.

I must say that it is the best car I ever had.

Of course, I am mechanically inclined and do alot of things for the car, but the engineering is outstanding.

As the car ages, things go wrong, so one needs to properly maintain the beast to keep it going.

So, get back to your place and stop bothering us.

I travelled here from the e28 and e30 boards to WARN prospective buyers about the e23 and all its problems. Having been an e23 victim, and having owned 4 other bimmers, I am not unfamiliar with this car and its problems.

Cruising around your board, I must say it is frequented by the nastiest and most immature bunch of bimmer owners out there. Cursing each other, insulting each other, very little productive being said, stupid political posturing for no apparent purpose... why?
Some of that happens on the e28 and e30 boards, but nowhere near as much as here.

My advice: Get back in the garage and finish replacing those defective heater cores; you've probably done it 2 or 3 times already and oughtta have the procedure down by now.
