1) with the engine running and the ICV valve disabled (so it won't try to adjust rpm), pull each FI connector off and see if the engine rpm/roughness differs from cylinder to cylinder.
2)Using an injector tester (About $55;supplies specific pulses to injectors while still mounted to fuel rail) will fire each injector a set # of times. You prime system and shut pump OFF, then with a fuel pres gauge look for similar fuel pres drop with each FI with the set number of pulses .Bob
Anybody know if there is an easy, safe way to test the fuel injectors for clogging, good spray pattern, ect.? I have a '85 735i w/ 180K - thanks in advance
